Nodd's Review Hey everyone, I got a new Prius and love it! And as for my trusty Honda, well, that went to my wife. But of course since I got the new car, I couldn't just give it to her as is. I mean, this car was our work horse and ripe with years of lost food crumbs, greasy fingers marks, hamster droppings, dog slobber, hiking mud, coffee stains and more. No way, I needed to give this car a new beginning... a fresh start if you will and there is no better way to do this than to take this filthy car than to the experts at Fresh Start Detail Company.
Located in downtown Beaverton on Broadway just off Lombard, Fresh Start Detail is a cinch to get to. I spoke with the owner, Jason Barker, and he provided me with some insight as to why Fresh Start has been so successful since 1995. "We are a full service detail facility and the first thing we do when a customer comes in is listen... we only sell what they need. We'll give our expert advice but with no pressure or strings attached." Yeah, and that's pretty much what I experienced. They went over my car and explained what needed to be done in terms I could understand. Jason even gave me his personal guarantee. I was lucky enough to get a tour of their garage and was impressed with all the equipment. Not only did they have a lift in order to bring a car up to eye level, but they had all sorts of machines and devices to clean, buff, polish and wash. From undercarriage protection to a steam-cleaned engine and of course exterior and interior, all could be done right there in their well lighted controlled environment. High quality and professionalism are the norm for the Fresh Start team and this to me was readily apparent. But perhaps the one point that made me happy to hear was that they are DEQ certified and environmentally responsible. Green is good.
So later that day I went back with my wife to pick up her Honda. In a word... wow! They did not disappoint and easily lived up to their reputation. Many of the scratches to the paint were buffed out, the tires and wheels sparkled but what really stood out was the interior: it not only looked like a new car, it smelled like a new car! They took a toothbrush to the moldings, detail brushes to the interior, pressure washed everything, steam cleaned the carpets, got tree sap off the top and road tar off the bottom but best of all, not a dog hair in sight! So yes I'm a happy customer and not only will I go back, I will also tell you, my friends, that if you have a SUV or Mini-van that's been through a ‘toddler tornado' or maybe you're trying to sell your car, let me recommend to you Jason and his expert team at Fresh Start Detail Company.
