Nodd's Review Nodds is happy to recommend the local banking services of the Banner Bank branch on Murray Blvd and Scholls Ferry Rd (near the Chevron station). Here you'll find my favorite banker in Branch Manager Sharon Schwinghammer who told me that "banking is about relationships and personalized help on a daily basis," something she did not find during her 30 year career which included large national banks. "I'm very happy to finally work in a community bank over a national bank because here I can truly give personal service. Call here and you will always get a person... absolutely no automated recordings."
For me, on the other hand, I've banked with well-known national banks, thinking that all banks were the same: impersonal places to store your money. Sure the tellers are friendly but they only knew my name after glancing at my debit card and as for customer service, well, that's what the 800 number is for right?
Not so with Banner Bank: no lines on Friday afternoons, competitive personal and commercial products and services, friendly smiles from staff who know you by name from the moment you walk through the door and a branch manager that gives personalized customer support in person. There is of course more reasons why I now won't bank anywhere else, but to truly understand what I'm talking about, go to a Banner Bank and see for yourself. It's a very pleasant experience.
