Nodds Review

Dear Lisa,  this is just a quick card to say ...THANK YOU - THANK YOU! For all the hard work as we went through the process of buying our first home. It was much harder than I expected and if not for your commitment to us, I know we could have run into some real problems. I really don't know what we would have done without you but like I said from the beginning, you were my first choice for an agent. I knew I could trust you and I knew you would come through for me... and you did!

Your the best,  Michael, Yoshi, Ginger, Teddy

The letter you see above is a note that I wrote to Lisa in a thank you card a few weeks after we moved into our new house. It's a heart felt letter and I meant every word because it sums up my entire home buying experience. I can't say it was a good experience because the process did not go smoothly. There were negotiations back and forth, a driveway that had to be repaved three times, a ninth inning appraisal surprise and a delay in the closing documents that brought me to near panic. Yes, this was a difficult process but you know what? It could have been a lot worse if it were not for Lisa Fain of The Sunset Group and her commitment to us.

How do you choose a good real estate agent? I know friends who would say that experience or knowledge are key or perhaps base their choice on the high number of homes sold by a particular agent. And while all these criteria do factor in, for me the one quality that was most important was relationship: trust, loyalty, commitment and friendship. Why? Take a super agent who knows everything and has been in the business for years. Will they be patient when a new homebuyer asks simple questions? Will they listen to your concerns or farm you off to an assistant? And if a super agent has 20 homes on the market and sold 20 more last month, how much time will they really have to dedicate to your home needs?

"We realize that people do business with people they trust," said Lisa repeating an important ideal of The Sunset Group, "and we are committed to establishing a long-term relationship based on trust." They also take pride in being knowledgeable and staying current with industry changes and, of course, this is also a big plus about the team that Lisa works with.

I know that there are many very good agents in the Beaverton area to choose from but if you haven't made a choice yet for your home, may I recommend Lisa Fain from the Sunset Group. She came through for me and I could not be happier. Thanks again Lisa!
