Nodd's Review If you asked my wife a week ago what my best dinner dish was, she'd mention something that included beans, cheese and a heated tortilla. Yum. But ask her today and she'll be delighted to proclaim that her new favorite dish of mine is Hoisin Pork Medallions with mashed potatoes and rice, sautéed in a medium skillet until each piece was nicely coated with a Hoisin sauce I prepared myself. Now, I would like you to believe that this fabulous meal took me hours to create, from researching the recipe to shopping to then slaving away in the kitchen. But the truth of it is that there was no grocery shopping involved at all and the slaving away in the kitchen part, well, I think my prep time came in at under 5 minutes! Cooking time was more like 15 minutes but for me the best part about this meal would have to be the clean up. In total, I only had to wash one medium sauté pan and one spatula looking thingy. That's it!

Karen was kind enough to give me a tour and explained that since every ingredient is fresh, "this is a place that allows you to cook as you would at home if you had the time and motivation... we make even the fanciest meals look simple". Yes, Entrees Made Easy is a place that allows busy people to bring restaurant quality food home to their families (and pay less). It's like your professional kitchen away from home that's fully stocked with everything you need to serve up great, customized dinners. And since you prepare everything yourself, you can go light on the salt and heavy on the onions, it's all up to you. So with no trans-fat, no deep fryers or foods soaked in grease, dinners made at Entrees Made Easy are both healthy as well as convenient.
So the next time you do a bit of grocery shopping at the WinCo on Cornelius Pass Rd, my suggestion is to go heavy on breakfast items because as soon as you're finished, you'll be wanting to head on next door to Entrees Made Easy to round out your week's dinner menu. The sign behind the tree next to On-Point reads ‘Entrees Made Easy' but if you ask me, I think they could just as simply have called themselves ‘Meals Made Quick', ‘Food Made Simple', ‘Dinners Made without Mess', or my favorite...‘Restaurant Quality Gourmet Dishes Made without Mess Just the Way You Want it in the Privacy of Your Own Home and for Less than What You'd Spend Eating Out Store'!
