At a casual meeting, Debbie Chen may come across as cordial or even charming and for the first part of our interview at Ava Roasteria, that is exactly how I would describe her. But as the subject turned from her upbringing in Taiwan to her approach to real estate, Debbie was all business. "I work hard for my clients," she told me adamantly.
